Sigmatel Audio Mic Not Working

Some Computers have front and back panels to connect microphones, some have only back panels. You'll want to use that as an example of what you need to do to get XP onto today's laptops. I have done everything suggested including control panel/sound/recording and changing the in built microphone for a plug in one but neither will work. People can hear everything through my microphone Microphone is too quiet for people to even hear on new laptop. his comment is here

The problem is that I can able to hear the person who I am talking with but he can't hear me… thanks you. I am able to hear audio when it comes from within the computer itself (mp3's, videos, etc), so I know my speakers are working fine, but when I plug my 4-track The "microphone boosts" ( 1 or 2 ) are checked coorectly.. Everything works fine except for the audio.

The working driver was buried in their own site all along, support probably has no idea it's even there! that's great.. Now you can see the Microphone Volume Control, here you can increase or decrease microphone volume as per your need. I am still trying to get this thing to work - Can anybody give me tips - I am installing Vanilla XP Pro on the Gateway MT6723 and no luck.
