I have the solution. Here's the guy's video that I followed when I rooted my phone...not sure how you rooted yours but I figured I'd put it here just in case it turns out to I removed the application called AT&T smart Wi-Fi. Turn your phone off.

To get into recovery, power phone off and wait until phone vibrates. Wifi works like a charm now.
